    Senior BatStats is a platform designed to help senior softball players track and analyze their batting performance across tournaments. Focused on senior athletes, the platform offers detailed insights into key metrics such as batting averages, hit locations, and overall game statistics, helping players refine their skills and measure improvement over time.

Problem

Senior BatStats aimed to create a platform where senior softball players could easily track and analyze their performance across various tournaments. They needed a system that could handle data entry, provide clear and visually engaging summaries, and allow users to track their progress over time.

To build a robust platform that allows senior softball players to track their batting performance and compare their progress across different tournaments. The challenge included designing a system that is both easy to use and powerful enough to provide detailed performance insights, developing a data import feature to allow users to easily add past tournament data from CSV files, and creating a visually engaging interface that highlights key performance metrics and trends.

Solution

We partnered with Senior BatStats to design and build a user-friendly platform that combines modern data visualization tools with simple, intuitive performance tracking.

Our role involved full front-end and back-end development, ensuring the platform was capable of handling tournament-level data while offering users a seamless experience. We created a dynamic platform that simplifies data entry, enhances performance tracking, and provides meaningful visualizations such as pie charts, bar charts, and bubble charts. The platform also includes an option for CSV file uploads, allowing users to quickly input data from past games and tournaments.

A user-friendly form for entering tournament data and game statistics. Users can easily input details such as team name, tournament, batting outcomes, and field location.

Visual summaries of batting statistics, including hit types, batting averages, and on-base percentages. The summaries offer multiple chart types, including pie, bar, bubble, and waffle charts, for easy performance analysis.

A feature to compare performance across different tournaments, enabling players to track their improvement over time. This includes a detailed review of hits, outcomes, and field locations for specific tournaments
