Company
The client is a Jewish music streaming platform designed to give families and individuals a trusted, kosher way to enjoy music, podcasts, Torah lessons, and children’s stories in English, Hebrew, and Yiddish. Users can stream and download albums, follow their favorite artists, explore curated playlists, and set up parental controls that keep listening safe for the whole family. Beyond the mobile apps and web player, the ecosystem includes support for Android Auto and CarPlay, a dedicated portable music player with the full library built in, and an online store for devices, accessories, and subscriptions.

What We Did
We designed the platform’s digital experience across both web and mobile, creating a consistent ecosystem around its Jewish music and audio content. For the website, we worked on the homepage, content discovery, subscription plans, online store and product pages, support and contact experiences, as well as responsive layouts for smaller screens.
For the mobile app, we focused on making a large and diverse content library easy to discover and enjoy. We designed key listening and discovery experiences, including the home screen, search and filtering, content categories, podcasts, and dedicated content pages - while keeping navigation clear and the experience consistent with the broader ecosystem.
Challenges
-
01
Creating a Seamless Audio Experience
Audio is at the core of the product, so playback needed to remain reliable as users moved between the app, other applications, and background mode. The challenge was to account for different playback behaviors across platforms while making the experience feel uninterrupted to the listener. This required a resilient player architecture capable of handling changes in playback state and recovering seamlessly in the background.

02
Connecting Web and Mobile Experiences
The website and mobile app serve different purposes within the same ecosystem - from discovering the platform and choosing a subscription to browsing content and listening on the go. The challenge was to create a consistent experience across both platforms while adapting navigation, hierarchy, and interactions to each context.

03
Bringing Content, Subscriptions, and Commerce Together
The platform combines streaming with subscription plans, its own music device, accessories, and an online store. The challenge was to bring these different parts of the product into one coherent ecosystem, with clear paths between discovering content, choosing a plan, downloading the app, and purchasing physical products.
Homepage
The homepage introduces the platform as a dedicated Jewish music service and creates a clear entry point into its ecosystem. The layout combines strong messaging, featured content, and direct access to listening and app downloads, while showcasing the experience across mobile, desktop, and a dedicated portable player.
Kids & Podcast Collections
Dedicated content sections bring kids’ music and podcasts directly into the homepage experience. Large artwork, clear category messaging, and focused CTAs make each collection easy to discover while keeping the overall page visually engaging and easy to scan.
Structured Catalog
The catalog was designed to make a large and diverse content library easier to explore. Clear categories, curated collections, and structured content rows help users move between new releases, playlists, artists, Torah content, and other formats without overwhelming the browsing experience.
Responsive Mobile Experience
The website experience was fully adapted for smaller screens, with simplified navigation, touch-friendly controls, and responsive content layouts. Key actions and catalog content remain easy to access while preserving the visual identity and hierarchy of the desktop experience.
Product Details & Side Cart
The product flow brings the platform’s physical devices into the same ecosystem as its digital services. Clear product information, purchase options, payment methods, and a compact side cart create a straightforward path from product discovery to checkout.
Support Center & Contact
Support content was structured around quick access to common questions and direct communication with the team. FAQs, account guidance, contact options, and a simple inquiry form create a clear support experience without adding unnecessary complexity.
App Home & Instant Search
The mobile app opens with a personal home screen that brings the most relevant content into one place, from featured collections and genres to fresh releases and recently played music. Autocomplete search suggests results as users type and lets them narrow the list by albums, songs, or artists, turning a large library into a quick path from idea to listening.
Genre & Artist Exploring
Genre and occasion-based collections give users a clear starting point when they know the mood but not the exact song. Flexible filters help narrow artist results to what matters most, so users can quickly return to familiar performers or discover new ones without scrolling through the entire library.
Artist & Album Pages
Artist pages bring together a performer’s albums, songs, podcasts, and latest releases, giving users a complete view of their work in one place. Like the rest of the app, every page is connected to related content, so users can move freely between artists, albums, and tracks without losing their way or starting a new search.
Personal Library & Offline Listening
The personal library keeps everything users save in one organized space, so their favorite music and podcasts are always just a few taps away. Offline downloads let them keep listening without an internet connection, making the app a reliable companion on the road, while traveling, or anywhere the signal is weak.
Settings & Storage Control
Account details, preferences, and subscription management are gathered in one clear settings area, so users can adjust the app to their needs without searching through menus. Storage settings give full visibility into how much space downloads take and let users set their own limit, keeping offline music under control on any device.
The Light Theme
Alongside the dark interface, the app offers a light theme that keeps the same structure, clarity, and visual character. Users can choose the look that feels most comfortable for them, whether they listen late at night or in bright daylight.
Conclusion
The result is a connected digital experience that brings content, streaming service, subscriptions, and products into one consistent ecosystem. The website gives new and returning users a clear way to discover the platform, explore its catalog, choose a plan, access support, and purchase products, while the mobile app provides a focused environment for everyday content discovery and listening.
Across both platforms, the experience was designed to make a large and diverse library feel structured, approachable, and easy to navigate. Consistent visual language, clear content hierarchy, and responsive interactions help the platform support different user needs while maintaining a recognizable experience across web and mobile.
